Bank of Moscow ex-president seeks damages

Andrei Borodin, the former president of Bank of Moscow, which will be the recipient of the largest bailout in Russian history, is suing his former employer for 140m roubles ($4.8m) for breaching his contract.

Bank of Moscow, which Borodin headed since 1995, is claiming unpaid salary plus interest, Mikhail Dolomanov, Borodin’s lawyer, told FT Tilt. The hearing is scheduled for September 5 at Moscow’s Meshchansky Court.

Dolomanov said the bank has not paid Borodin his full salary for the entire term in office as stated in his contract. Any money awarded to Borodin will be given to charity, Dolomanov said.
